The Senior Energy Modelling Consultant is required to support and collaborate with the Head of Energy Market Analytics, other consultants and the Managing Director with the origination and delivery of training, subscription reports and forecasts, consultancy work and stakeholder management and business development. This role will support the local Australian team on various tasks and will require continuous communications with headquarters in the UK.
The candidate will be required to support the management of new and existing consulting projects, ensuring they are delivered professionally to the customers’ requirements, on budget and on time. The candidate will also be expected to identify new opportunities to upsell products and services and help with the development of new products.
The candidate may also be seconded to existing and new clients to support modelling consultancy work delivery.
As a Consultant you will be working with a diverse range of clients, topics, and issues at the forefront of the energy market. The knowledge gained should be shared with colleagues across the business to ensure insights are deployed across the company’s service delivery team.
The candidate will have five-eight years of modelling experience and exposure in the Australian energy market and at least three years of strong analytical, research, and/or model development experience (preferably in the NEM). Previous consulting experience will be considered highly.
